 Solicitors have many skills they use throughout the Collaborative process; however they are not financial advisors or counsellors etc. Collaborative lawyers are trained to include the expertise of professionals when necessary benefiting the chances of settlement. The client always retains control as it is the client that would instruct the expert following the advice of the Collaborative Lawyer.
