HELP
WITH MOTORING
SOLUTIONS
Q:
My licence is at risk. Can you help me?
A:
Yes – we can
provide help with a full range of motoring offences
from causing death by dangerous driving to document
offences.
The
first thing that we would check would be to see if
you were actually guilty of an offence. If you are
not guilty either on your version of events or on
the Prosecution case then we can take matters to
trial for you.
If you are found not guilty then there is no issue
with
losing your licence. If you plead guilty
to an offence or are found guilty and your licence
is at risk then there are ways that we can help you
with this.
Q:
What specifically can you do to help me to keep my
licence?
A:
There are two main ways a person
might keep their licence if they plead guilty or if
they are convicted of motoring offences which
attract possible disqualification. These are
claiming that you or someone connected with you
would suffer
“exceptional hardship”
if you were disqualified or claiming a
“special reason” for the Court not to endorse your
licence with penalty points or disqualify you.
Q:
What constitutes Exceptional Hardship or Special
Reasons?
A:
This
can be a very involved matter. Please
contact PAINTERS
for a
Free initial interview on 01562

Q: So
you can help me but won’t it cost a lot of money?
A:
Not necessarily. Your initial
interview will be free and after that all solicitors
have a professional duty to consider if you are
eligible for legal aid. If you are, we will tell
you.
If
you are not eligible for legal aid and you need our
help then we are able to offer a fixed fee service
which is £350.00 plus VAT for local straightforward
exceptional hardship or special reasons cases.
For
trial matters we charge on a time cost basis but can
offer flexible payment terms. For more information
