Hero of the Month for September (2022)

We are pleased to announce that we have joint Heroes for the month of September: they are Sharon Rowley (legal executive) and Charlotte Miltiadou (trainee solicitor) (both work in our busy Probate department).

Over the course of the last year, both Sharon and Charlotte were given the unenviable task of dealing with, and sorting out, registration of all trusts. To put this in context, no-one in the country understood what was going to be required for this; it was an entirely new project for anybody to undertake.  From the tediousness of laboriously going through all title deeds to establish what trusts we hold; to working out how to register the trusts online through the Revenue’s online service; to trying to explain to clients why they need to register (and how), everything has been thrown at Sharon and Charlotte for this task.

They have both risen to the challenge with aplomb.   As a fellow staff member said when nominating them for this month’s award: “They have both gone above and beyond assisting our clients registering their trusts with very little guidance from HMRC and I think they both need to be recognised this month.”  Quite right too!  Well done to Charlotte and Sharon.
